| Type F sockets were previously used and can still be found in a few older buildings. Bathrooms in most hotels and many homes have dual voltage (110/230V) type C or type C and A combination sockets labeled "Shavers Only." Today D and M outlets are for special use only, like lighting. Find a type G outlet instead. | |||

| In addition to normal PAL and DVB-T, there is an extensive MMDS (Multipoint Microwave Distribution System) covering the entire country carrying cable-like service on an encrypted DVB-T system operating at frequencies between 2.5 and 2.686 Ghz and picked up by a small roof antenna. It effectively is the same as DVB-T systems elsewhere, except for the broadcast frequencies. A second range of frequencies from 11.7 to 12.5Ghz has recently been allocated to increase the system capacity. | |||
